1/400 DKM Prinz Eugen (Heller)
This is my third finished ship model project. It took me nearly one year to build it (including pauses).Out of the box kit is not very accurate. I would say it would be a mixture of all Admiral Hipper class ships. But the excelent build of this model by Anthony Tow which was presented on this website inspired me to extensive scratchbuilding. In addition I used photoetch. detail set WEM PrinzEugen/Admiral Hipper + WEM Kriegsmarine Portholes, Doors & Hatches. I tried to display ship in status from beginning of the year 1945. Used paints are Humbrol and Vallejo Model color.
