1/400 DKM Prinz Luitpold (Heller)
A fictional German Heavy Cruiser, made from Heller Prinz Eugen kit (1/400) scale. Inspired by 'The Iron Pirate' book by Douglas Reeman.
Enlarged hanger similar to Admiral Hipper, searchlight arrangement on funnel also altered slightly. The model is also weathered.
I have included a drawing of her.
27-12-04:Since the last photos, the ship has been motorized with a plastic coated radio control arial incorporated into the main mast.
