I am working on a ship that never really existed, DKM Prinz Luitpold,
I got
the idea after reading Douglas Reemans novel The Iron Pirate in which
a
german heavy cruiser is dipatched to the Atlantic to raid enemy shipping.
She is based on the Heller 1/400 scale Prinz Eugen and has been modified
to
look how the Prinz Luitpold looks on the book cover. I have included
a
drawing of her as the model herself is not yet finished.
