1/400 Degrasse (Heller)
This French cruiser was originally laid down in the 1930s, but construction was delayed by the war and it was not completed until the 1950s. It was completed as an AA cruiser with a gun armament of eight 127mm and ten 57mm twin mounts. An Alouette II helicopter was carried on the quarterdeck.
The model represents the ship "as completed". It's detailed with WEM railings, L'Arsenal radars and photo-etch detail parts, and scratchbuilt details including cabins for the ship's boats (made from styrene sheet and PE ladder stock)
