1/350 HMS Sheffield (Iron Shipwright)
This is HMS Sheffield, showing alterations made during the 1942 repair and refit which followed mine damage off Iceland in March of that year. It's the ISW resin kit of Shiny Sheff, but with much of the photo-etch sourced from White Ensign's etched sheet produced for their own long out of production kit, brass barrels for the secondary and close range armament from Master Models, 4 inch twin mounts from WEM, WEM Carley floats, a modified Trumpeter Walrus and quite a bit of scratchbuilding - most of the boats, pom poms, directors, masts, bridge details etc.
