This is the reconstruction of the old Tamiya kit made with new elements such as the main artillery, various accessories such as the Equipment for Japan Navy ship by Skywave and the Heavy Vessel Ordnance Set by Tamiya and using generic photo-etched parts. The masts are scracht and many more elements. The sea it´s a Frank Spahr method.

The original model is the older version of the Tamiya 7719 kit. I built it in 1986 and used Tamiya colors instead of the usual Humbrol enamels.
