1/350 IJN Furataka (Blue Water Navy)
The ship is in her pre-war config (late '40 early '41). I used a set of 1/200 plans from Pacific Front to do some additional detailing to the superstructure and mainmast/crane. The rigging is a combination of 1 & 2 lb monofiliment, and the stays are brass rod & ceramic wire. The kit was awarded with a 1st place at the US Nats, and a "Best Ship" & "Best in Show" at the Region 2 show.
