1/700 Third class cruiser IJN Katsuragi (Seals Models)
Third classs cruiser (Sloop) IJN Katsuragi fought in the Sino-Japanese War and Russo-Japanese War; she was built in 1883 and was decommissioned in 1913. The kit is resin and includes ratline PE, but I substituted the kit`s with Atlantic ratlines.
This is a very hard kit to find; It is of a very interesting period in warship design during the last days of transition from sail to steam propulsion.
In one picture, IJN Katsuragi is featured with 1/700 scale kits from Modelkrak of IJN Yoshino and Imperial Chinese Navy battleship Chuen Yang - all participated in the Sino-Japanese War.
