1/700 IJN Maya (Hasegawa)
This is the 1/700 IJN Heavy Cruiser Maya by Hasegawa. I took some different kinds of brass wires to make the ropes and masts. I replaced the sea planes deck with a scratchbuilt one and rebuilt the heat shields on the main turrets with sheet copper. I found the PE in the super detail version very useful; catapults, radars 25MM AA and even the frames of the bridge windows. I spent about 4 months working on her and I think she looks magnificent!
