1/700 Zhemchug (Combrig)
This is my build of Combrig's Zhemchug kit, completed in spring of 2004.
Masts, yards, and rigging are all of stretched sprue, railings are Tom's Modelworks, ladders and anchor chain are GMM, flag is Dunagain decals, and additional boats are Modelkrak.
A casting flaw necessitated sanding about a quarter inch of material off the hull at the waterline, unusual for a Combrig kit.
The contest photo wasn't taken by me, I lifted it from the internet; it's added due to the superior photo quality.
