1/700 USS Leahy CG-16 (Scratchbuilt)

CG 16 Leahy served from 1962 to 1992, and was the longest serving vessel of the Leahy class 'double-ender' types in the old steam Navy. I tried to depict her in her last form running with MSC T-AK 282 USS Marshfield and the carrier Kitty Hawk. The model was built of sheet plastic around a balsa 'plug' with 1/700 pieces from the parts box added on.
