1/350 USS Chancellorsville CG-62 (Dragon)
Model is of the Shanghai Dragon 1014 USS Mobile Bay kit. I modified the kit to portray the CG-62 USS Chancellorsville in April 2004 as part of the Kittyhawk Strike Group. This group forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan seems to always get the latest equipment.
Modifications to the kit include adding several more radar and communications domes. Some of the domes are of the newer sloped sided domes. Fortunately the Dragon kits domes are solid so shaping to the new form wasn't a problem.
Wish one of the Decal companies would come out with the newer darker
numbers in 1/350. Trying to darken regular number decals is a pain!
