1/350 USS Brooklyn CL-40 (Yankee Modelworks)
Just thought I would share with you all my latest project, 1/350 USS
Brooklyn circa 1938. I used the Yankee Modelworks resin kit as a base making
necessary changes to back date the kit to her 1938 fit. I built this for
the Grandson of a former crew member who served aboard her at this time.
I must say that this build was a challenge, mostly just the quality of
the kit itself required extensive reworking and cleanup. Almost every component
had some sort of scratchbuilding or reworking to make it acceptable.
