1/700 USS St. Louis CL-49 (Classic Warship)
The USS St. Louis was a modified light cruiser design of the original Brooklyn design. The kit is from Classic Warship. A general good kit with some weakpoints for my opinion. I have backdated the kit at the same as before my USS Honolulu kit from Corsair Armada.
My plan was to build a US cruiser as she looked before the war began in 1940. I have removed the splinter shields, the 1.1 inch and 20mm AA guns, added the second line of bulleyes, the second boat crane midship an all of the peacetime boats.
I have painted the kit in US standard navy grey from WEM. Also, I have used the Tom's Modelworks PE set for light cruiser as well as the GMM set .
