1/350 USS Atlanta CL-51 (Blue Water Navy)
The kit is the Blue Water Navy in 1/350 with scratchbuilt brass masts & yardarms, scratchbuilt smoke generators and depth charges. K-guns and 20mm's are from Tamiya's Fletcher. Props are Flagship 1/500 four blade props as correct for Atlanta after the initial sea trials (the 1/350 props were too large). She is in the scheme she wore in her final battle at Guadalcanal, Ms12 Mod. Rigging is 4x and 7x tippet. The base is curly maple dyed blue. Constructive comments are welcome.
