1/600 HMS Belfast (Airfix)
This kit almost as old as me, but nevertheless with a few pieces of photoetch and some weathering, this old Airfix doesn't look bad at all.
I was hoping to add some actual photo's of Belfast from her war time history as I built this for a colleague at work, his dad served onboard during the war.
UPDATED:
The colour photograph of all those old sea dogs together, the chap 2nd from right is Mr John Seares, owner of these original snaps as he joined the navy and served on HMS Belfast throughout the 2nd World War.
