1/600 HMS Belfast (Airfix)
I got this model off ebay for a five pounds, I thought it was a bargain and always liked the colours of this warship. The kit had already been started, and had no instructions with it, so it was going to be a hard build. I had to guess and study the picture of the ship on the box carefully; I have to say it’s the hardest ship I’ve built so far as it was all guess work really. I painted it first, looking at the box and the HMS Belfast web page before I started to put it together, it was very frustrating at times, but managed to struggle on in the end and glued it. And I was very happy with the end results. I think it one of my best looking warships as well.
