1/700 IJN Abukuma (Tamiya)
This is my attempt at Tamiya's 1/700 Abukuma. I think this has to be the best IJN CL in 1/700 plastic so far, although I've yet to build Aoshima's Sendai class yet. It's a great little kit, plenty of detail, easy to build, goes together well and still plenty of scope for detailing. Again I started it, got so far and then went back and finished months later! Etch is by GMM. Paints by WEM, Lifecolour and Citadel. Rigging by WEM, weathering by a mix of drybrushing and the Tamiya weathering system.
