1/700 IJN Isuzu (Fujimi)
This is Fujimi's older IJN Isuzu kit. It has a few problems; there is a deckhouse aft of the rear stack that shouldn't be there in between the B Turret mounting, Tamiya's kit is better I have since found out. But once in, I went for the gusto. I added Toms Modelworks IJN Light Cruiser Detail set, details from Eduard's IJN Miscellaneous Details set and some bits from Tauro's Ships Wheels and Reels set. All of the weapons on the ship have been replaced with SkyWave bits from their range of Extra IJN Equipment sets as well as styrene stock from Evergreen for the odd bits and pieces. Rigging is all stretched sprue as all of my ship rigging is done that way, nice, simple, and cheap, sorta like me. The painting is MM Acryls with oil paint for the weathering. I used the Morskie Monograph on the ship for additional references and as a detail aid.
