1/350 SMS Emden (Revell Germany)
I built this Model/Diorama about 1 year ago for my grandfather's 90th birthday. Now he is about to turn 91; he's a WWII veteran. This was a very fun build. The photoetching was a little tricky but it worked out very well. I feel very lucky to still have my grandfather at 42; he is my teacher of history about WWII and that time period. 1000 WWII veterans die everyday. I saw on the web somewhere that we only have 1 WWI veteran still alive. Photo Etch by Eduard and Toms Modelworks.
