1/700 Lexington's last battle (Trumpeter\Niko)

My first ship diorama depicts the evacuation of USS Lexington CV-2 in the late afternoon of 8 may 1942, during the closing phase of the battle of the Coral Sea. USS Morris DD417 is assisting her. Lexington's sinking was a big loss, but the evacuation was very successful.

Build threads can be found here and here.

I am in the process of writing a book on this diorama for AK Interactive, in their "Full Ahead" series of ship-oriented modelling books."
