1/700 USS Lexington CV-16 (Dragon)

The USS Lexington CV-16 was Admiral Mitscher's flagship for Task Force 58 in March 1944.

My model of the Lexington represents her at that time when she and TF 58 were attacking the Palau Islands.

I used Dragon's Lexington kit for this build. I back dated the 20mm galleries for that time period using plastic strip. Lexington is painted in MS21. Air Group 16 is onboard.
