1/700 USS Lexington CV16 (Dragon)

 

The USS Lexington  CV16 was commissioned in March of 1943 and was painted in the MS21 paint scheme which she wore through June of 1945.  The "Lady Lex" received various upgrades during the war, including the late war island, and many additional 40mm quad Bofors. She saw much action in the Pacific and was awarded 11 Battle Stars for her service.

• Blue Ridge 5”/38 Closed Twin Turrets
• Corsair Armada 5"/38 Single Open Mount
• Flyhawk Essex Carrier Photo Etch
