1/720 USS Saratoga CVA-60 (Italeri)
This is a 1/720 scale Italeri CVA-60 Saratoga that has been modified to her appearance in the early 60's. The Sponsons were scratch built with balsa and the 5" guns are from a couple of Skywave Weapons kits. I also used GMM PE to finish out the ship.
The Flight Deck is Starfighter Decals with black chalk for the weathering.
The airwing is CVW-3 in 1961. I got the F-3's and Willy Fud from WEM. The A-3's are Trumpeter, the F-8's and A-1's from Fujimi. The A-4's are from the Skywave sup kits. I made the decals on the computer and a Lexmark printer.
