1/350 USS Nimitz CVN-68 (Trumpeter)

Trumpy Nimitz so far, with photos of the progress I have made so far on her.

All detail on the aircraft is hand painted, and I know, before someone will no doubt say, those squadrons never served together on the Nimitz, or use that tail code. But it's a hobby, and what is wrong with a bit of artistic licence here and there? I still have a way to go on her, but the wingy things for the hanger are almost complete, after that it's some deck equipment and pallets and crew figures...

Updated; These are a further set of 'in progress' pics showing the hanger deck, flight deck and the start of the island. GMM PE has been used throughout, including the flightdeck netting and catwalk grating, as well as various decals from the GMM set.
