1/350 USS Nimitz CVN-68 (Trumpeter)

I modified the USS Nimitz 1975 to 1981 Version. Model had provided the hanger deck but without wall and elevator gate, i used plastic card to build the wall and gate, wall detailed was drawn in computer and print on sticker to stick on the plastic card’s wall. Hanger also had some lighting with LED, and to the fin tail, I used white plastic card to make a box and put on the ceiling of the fin tail, bottom was drill 3 holes for lighting come out, plastic box only needed one LED and can lighting all the fin tail.

After the hanger I build the island, all the window was put a clear green plastic sheet, inside area had made a white plastic box again and it was go through all the level, so I can used one LED can lighting all the island’s levels. Fight deck had more modified The no. 4 JBD was much longer it was same as No.3 JBD I had to shorter it! All the running and safety line are very thick mold on the deck, I cannot used the decal for these line all of it was hand paint and used thinner masking tape to cover it and paint the deck!

The air wings was all replaced to Tamiya they was all had air wings decal, it was from paolo_workshop released, all of the air wings had CVW marking and walkway detailed! Working vehicle and fire truck are resin also from paolo_workshop, the ship also had used Gold medal Models photoetch.

The model had join Hong Kong Society of Modeling show 2012 and had win two prizes.
