1/720 John C. Stennis CVN-74 (Italeria)
Inspired by Noel Carpios buildup of his "USS Stennis" I would like to turn in my model of the same carrier, that I finished a few weeks ago. It is the Italeri "Stennis". The airwing is the Skywave set in clear plastic (yes, it is hard to build, as the clear parts tend to break, especially the F-18-undercarriage) and I used the GMM-supercarrier-fret to add more detail. I airbrushed the deck in a gloss-gray mixture, applied the decals and then gave it a matt-finish. After that the deck was weathered using MM-gunship gray, pastel-chalk and MM-medium gray drybrushed.
