1/400 DKM Graf Zeppelin (JSC)

This is the JSC paper model of the German aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. The kit is from JSC's "Mikroflota" series of 1/400 scale paper models. The model shows the GZ as she might have looked had she been completed and entered service.

I enhanced the model with stretched sprue rigging and railings from Tom's Modelworks. The most challenging, or perhaps I should say tedious, part of the project was assembling the tiny paper planes - each a model in itself. I made 12 Me-109s and 10 Ju-87 Stukas. After that, I felt my mind giving way and stopped.
