1/600 HMS Ark Royal (Airfix)
This was the latest, 5th Warship I have built, It was a lovely carrier, but not easy as it has so many port holes to paint and a few different shades of grey thrown, it took a while to get it looking the way I wanted it to look. I painted a dark grey first and then tryed to add a bit of lighter grey on top, I think the effect turned out quite well, I also tryed to weather the landing deck to, by painting it dark green and then adding black dirt and tyres mark off the planes, another effect which I think turned out ok. Think I painted the colours of the sword fish planes right for the first time to, as I I thought they were brown and green for a while, but I have to say I was glad when I was finished, as it seemed to take ages to paint and all put together, all in all, I was happy with the end result.
