1/700 HMS Illustrious (Aoshima)
Accessories; Gold Medal Models, White Ensign Models, LionRoar (WWII Royal Navy Radar), Eduard 1/700 figures.
This is an old kit of Asohima's. It was a very simple model, without lots of ship or hanger detail!
I tried to used some plastic rod and sheet to detail up the hull. I used the WEM photo etch to detail up the island. The paints were are airbrushed. Air wings used the GMM WWII aircraft P.E. set.
