1/700 BRP Datu Sikatuna PF-5 (Skywave)
This is a model fo the BRP Datu Sikatuna (PF-5) of the Philippine Navy. Formerly USS Amick, a Cannon class destroyer escort of the US Navy, She is one of three Cannon class DEs that proudly served the Philippine Navy in the late 70s up to the early 90s. This is also the second ship model on the net that proudly waves the Philippine colors from her mast. Modifcations of the kit include using Gold Medal PE parts for the bridge windows and Flagship Models PE parts for DD/DEs, the use of silk 7-0 sutures for riggings, spinal needle stylettes for both flagstaffs, and some styrene for the weather deck roof.
