1/125 USS Melvin DD-680 and Type VIIC U-boat (Lindberg/Revell)
The classic Lindberg Fletcher Class destroyer USS Melvin and the Revell Type VIIC u-boat, both on the 1/125 scale. The Melvin is shown in her dark Measure 21 scheme which earned her the nickname the "Blue Devil" in World War Two. I felt the need to scratch-build her radars and propellers since the ones in the kit were pretty crappy. The u-boat is in a common mid-war configuration essentially right out of the box. These make a nice display together as a size comparison.
