1/350 USS Phelps DD-360 (Iron Shipwrights)
USS Phelps in the Atlantic in 1944 as convoy flagship. Ship is in Measure 32/3d camouflage scheme. Model is a Iron Shipwright's USS Moffett 1/350 destroyer kit. Model had to be almost completely rebuilt as the USS Phelps. Some of the modifications done: Funnels shortened, new main gun turrets fore and aft, new secondary armament, completely new scratch built bridge, etc. Compare this model with my model of the Clark to see the difference.
