This is the Yankee Modelworks USS Sampson (DD-394) built straight from the box. She is in her 1943 guise when she wore the Ms. 16 camoflouge scheme, designed for operations in the North Atlantic. The colors consisted of white and Thayer Blue. For the latter color, I used the WEM Colorcoats paint. The kit is a fairly straight-forward build but required some filling and sanding, as all resin kits do. It is a nice little kit that can be built in a very unique paint scheme.
