1/350 USS Swanson DD-443 (Blue Water Navy)

 Model is of the USS Swanson DD-443 one of the early 10 torp tube DD's in the Gleaves class.  Ship is depicted as she was in July 1945 with AAW'45 modifications. During this period of the war she performed B-29 Life Guard, Radar Picket and ASW screen duty in the Iwo Jima area.  Ship is painted in Measure 21.

This is one of Blue Water Navy's 1/350 resin Benson/Gleaves class destroyers.  These fine BWN ship models are the USS Gwin, USS Aaron Ward, USS Tillmann, USS Farrenholt 1942, and USS Farrenholt 1944. All are very fine quality kits.
