Subject: 1/350 USS Fletcher by John Powell Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 18:11:43 -0700 From: "Kevin" <67kp@cox.net> To: This is a Tamiya Fletcher with WEM turrets and 20mm, L'arsenal 40mm dual bofors (modified from quad), Classic warships props, GMM and Tom's Model works PE, and scratchbuilt flag bags, mast, and base. The model was weathered with pastel chalks, and photographed against San Diego bay. This is my second model with PE, and took about 8 months to complete, but I am happy with the results. Just goes to show that with a few aftermarket parts, an inexperienced modeler can make good results.
