Check out my website for a whole lotta 3D models. http://home1.gte.net/konman/index.html FYI: I've been hanging around the Midway Roundtable online lately. Getting feedback on my 3D models from actual participants of the Doolittle Raid and Battle of Midway has been mind-blowing. I'm not an engineer and my 3D is not technically accurate. In fact, I think most of my ships would actually sink if they were real. I've used a few 3D modeling software packages but my favorite package is Strata. I also use a Mac and haven't upgraded my machine or taken any 3D classes on other software because I've got a young family and also have a day job that's just helping ends meet right now. Of all my models, I think I'm most proud of the DD-445 Fletcher. I keep going back to this model to refine it and make it more accurate. This launched a personal drive to complete the CV-8 USS Hornet and it resulted in the Midway pictures and Doolittle Raid pictures (although I've clearly been told that the Fletcher participated in neither event). If you honor me by posting a picture on your site, I think the two attached views of the Fletcher are my favorite. Thank you.
