1/350 USS Jenskins DD-447 (Tamiya)
USS Jenkins DD-447 as she appeared during the Battle for Leyte Gulf when she was a fighter direction ship. Ship is painted in Measure 32/6d camouflage pattern.
Model used in conversion was another Tamiya 1/350 plastic Fletcher class
destroyer kit. Built the ship in her late '44 configuration with
ten 40
mm AA guns.
One of my early conversions and still one of my favorites.
