1/350 USS Nicholas DD-449 (Blue Water Navy)
USS Nicholas DD449 as she appeared in May of 1942 running her speed trial tests. This took place prior to comissioning. Ship is painted in Measure 12 Revised camouflage scheme.
Model is a Blue Water Navy 1/350 resin USS Fletcher kit. Little modifications were done to the kit.
Note: Notice that not one piece of radar equipment nor 20 mm guns were as yet installed. One set of 1.1" Quad mounts were installed without director between number 3 and 4 five inch gun mounts.
