1/350 USS Pringle DD-477 (Tamiya)
DD-477 USS Pringle as she was in the great catapult experiment of 1943. Ship is in Meaure 22 camouflage scheme.
Kit model is the 1/350 Tamiya plastic USS Fletcher kit modified to be the USS Pringle. I am sure everyone has in their ship collection one of these ship conversions. Must be some fascination in a Fletcher class destroyer carrying an aircraft. After the experiment was complete the real USS Pringle was turned back to normal configuration.
