1/350 USS Stevens DD-479 (Tamiya)
This is my attempt at converting the old Tamiya Fletcher kit into one of the three ships in that class that were converted to carry the OS2U. The catapult and boom were scratch built, in addition I used the GMM PE set and WEM'S resin OS2U. She is hand painted in self mixed water based acrylic using US paint chips as mixing guides, and then weathered with dry pastels. The sea scape is ready mixed fine filler, painted with Tamiya acrylics.
Any mistakes or errors are of my own doing but please feel free to point them out to me as my research material was limited.
