1/350 USS Benson Class Destroyers  (ISW and BWN)

Model kits are 1/350 scale Benson Class destroyers from Iron Shipwright and the now defunct Blue Water Navy MB Co (now dba Yankee Modelworks).

I built these kits awhile back for a retired USN Bluejacket who recently passed away.  His grand kids got hold of them and mangled both models badly.  In the process one of the boys got a mast through the palm of his hand.  Children do not know the difference between models and toys. Grandma found my address and returned them to me because she felt they were to dangerous to leave lying around.

I recently rebuilt both kits to almost original condition from materials in the spare parts box.  A bit of scratch building was also needed.  I rebuilt the kits as the DD-492 USS Bailey and DD-607 USS Frazier.
