Subject: USS Howorth

Here are some photos of my DD592, USS Howorth. It was built from the Tamiya
1/350 Fletcher with the 1/350 GMM Fletcher PE set. The fore and midships
40MM gun tubs and the stern 20MM tub were scratch built from styrene and
resin. Depth charges were added from styrene rod and 1lb fishing line was
used to rig. MV lenses for the searchlights and blast bags from 2 part
ribbon epoxy complete the changes made. In the background is the DD709 Hugh
Purvis, a BWN 1/350 Sumner, built for a friends father-in-law.
