1/350 USS Harlan R. Dickson DD-708 (Dragon)
This is Dragon's beautiful Gearing kit modified to represent USS Harlan R Dickson (DD-708) circa 1957. The "Dirty Dick" was a Sumner class, so I had to remove the scale 14' from the midships area. Many other mods to convert to the post-war configuration, most from styrene; mast from brass rod. Bridge dodger from PE scraps with white glue "canvas". Aftermarket parts include: GMM PE, Veteran Models 3"/50s and Mk56 Director, and Yankee Modelworks 4-bladed screws. Thanks to all here who provided inspiration, information, and ideas.
