1/350 USS William R. Rush DD-714 (Blue Water Navy)

DD-714 William R. Rush as she appeared in October of 1945.  She had the latest in Anti Kamikaze weapons ready but was completed just a little too late for W.W.II.  Ship is in the 1945 flat gray's that replaced earlier blue tint paints.  She was painted in 1945 Measure 22, #27 Haze Gray 5-H and #7 Navy Gray 5-N.

Model is Blue Water Navy's BN-35003 USS Gearing 1/350 resin kit. Modifications to the kit included replacing the aft bank of torpedo's with another quad 40 mm gun and mount.  Using regular plastic twin 20 mm guns in place of the kit provided P.E. guns.  Making and Installing the extra Jamming Antenna mast and Pod's that the W. R. Rush carried.  All together an enjoyable build.
