1/700 USS Conolly DD-769 (Skywave)
DD769 USS Conolly was commissioned in 1978. It was sunk as a target in April, 2009. This model of Conolly shows it in final rig with Tomahawk launchers abaft the ASROC launcher and Harpoon launchers on superstructure. Like other Spruance class ships, Conolly had its share of gas-turbine propulsion problems, breaking down once off S. America. Refinements have benefitted the following Burke Class.
