1/350 USS Curtis Wilbur DDG-54 (Panda)
DDG-54 USS Curtis Wilbur
Kit is the Panda Models USS Cole kit. I converted it to the DDG-54 USS Curtis Wilbur in 2004 as she is forward deployed with DesRon 15 at Yokosuka, Japan.
As usual the forward deployed ships have the latest upgrades. Thanks to the Navy Newsstand's vast photo archives, I was able to find current photo's of the Curtis Wilbur. I was thus able to fashion all of the latest dome's and antenna's currently carried and position them in the correct locations. I love that Navy Newsstand Site for its current information and photo's.
