1/700 USS Chafee DDG-90 (DML)
This is the USS Chafee in her 2004 configuration. I built her out of Dragon's USS Mustin kit and modified her accordingly. Changes made to the kit itself included the necessary extension of the hangar and hull, enlarging the stack on top of the hangar and replacing the too small aft VLS cells with more accurate ones.
Detailing: PE from GMM and stretched sprue. Colors are from WEM, the seascape is made out of plaster with 3D model paste water spray.
