1/500 USS Evarts DE-5 (Scratchbuilt)
Based on 2 Lindberg Butler class kits, this is my effort at making a Evarts Destroyer escort. I used a cedar hull and added a piece of the Lindberg upperworks. I cut the bridge off of one of these kits...modified it and added it to another. The 3" mounts are from Revell's Arizona with the barrells replaced with pins. The Lindberg Reilly DE kit in 1/535 is a great source of parts for small warships in this scale and is not too pricey yet at auction.
