This is a 1:96 plank- on- frame model of the USS Ulvert M. MOORE  (DE 442).
Kit by BaD Ship Models. I served on this ship in WW II. It was commanded by
Lt. Cdr. Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr. It was credited with three Japanese
planes, and the submarine RO-115. This is my first experience with this type
of model.
